Brew & Blether
Tea, biscuits and a friendly chat — the kettle is always on at the Village Hall.
Activities & Projects
We're still looking for a workshop to call home, so for now our Wednesday evenings at Kemnay Village Hall keep things simple — good company, conversation and the activities the hall allows. Once we secure a permanent shed, we'll be able to open the doors to much more.
In the hall — for now
Items marked Now are happening every week at the Village Hall. Items marked are what we're planning to offer once we have a permanent workshop.
Tea, biscuits and a friendly chat — the kettle is always on at the Village Hall.
A regular, welcoming place to meet other men from Kemnay and the surrounding villages.
Time and space to talk — about anything, or nothing — with people who'll listen.
Benches, planters, repairs and restoration — as soon as we have a workshop of our own.
Bring a broken lamp or a wobbly chair and we'll have a go at fixing it together.
Raised beds, propagation and a quiet patch of ground to potter in.
Looking ahead
A unit, garage, outbuilding or yard around Kemnay would let us set up benches, store tools and welcome members for woodworking, repairs and gardening alongside our Wednesday socials.
If you know of somewhere that might suit, or you'd like to help us get there, we'd love to hear from you.
Help us find a workshop
Got a project for us?
Once our workshop is up and running we'll take on small jobs for the village — benches, signage, planters, repairs. We don't charge for our time; a donation to cover the cost of supplies is all we ask. Drop us a line and we'll come and have a look.
